“I understand that Sen. McCain was asked yesterday this question, ‘how many houses do you own?,’ and he couldn’t answer that question. He couldn’t count high enough apparently to even know how many houses he owns,” said Kaine.
Ummmmkaaaay… And just how refined are Obama’s counting skills?
I guess Obama can’t count high enough to know how many states he wants to govern.
I know, I know, he meant to say 47. That’s all well and good, but if you are going to make fun of someone’s counting ability… well, I’m sure you already know the advice about planks and splinters.
I can perfectly understand why McCain would not know how many houses he and his wife own. His wife owns many of them. And some are investment properties.
So, yeah, Obama, good job with this ad.
I wonder when McCain will start running an ad utilizing the plethora of sound bites stemming from Obama’s misspeaks and imagination.
UPDATE: I guess Obama doesn’t know so much about struggling just to pay the mortgage either…

The Eyebrow didn’t mention anything about how Obama bought a million dollar home with the help of Tony Rezko. Wonder why?? And the remark about not being able to count that high…ugh. How did this man get to be on anyone’s VP short-list, again?
This is the kind of stuff that makes me wonder just what people really see in Obama. Really, I’m appalled by love this guy is given just because he is as slick as Clinton. Watch any of the staged events and you can almost see that stupid bitch from Hazleton crying in the background like she just saw Jesus. Holy Moly, what am I missing, I see nothing that he has said that I would even consider voting for this person.
F’ ME ! I JUST DON’T GET IT!!!

Speaking of Clintons…
Whackette, you should update this post with the new MCain ad featuring Tony Rezko…
I haven’t been able to find it yet.
Ah, found it.
Scene 1
McCain people: “Obama said there are 57 states! har har har!”
Obama people: “But McCain commits gaffes on a regular basis, including thinking there is still a country called Czechoslovakia.”
McCain people: “But he’s an older man…”
Scene 2
McCain people: “John Edwards is evil for having an affair on his cancer-stricken wife. Obama is evil for knowing Edwards.”
Obama people: “But McCain had numerous affairs on the wife who had stood by him during his captivity, seemingly because she had been badly disfigured due to a car wreck.”
McCain people: “But that was a long time ago…he was only 43 back then…”
Scene 3
McCain people: “Obama is an elitist.”
Obama people: “Obama worked for everything he has. He was raised by his grandparents. McCain married an heiress who still keeps her finances secret. He doesn’t even know how many houses they own, and though their incomes are separate he still enjoys endless financial support from his spouse.”
McCain people: “But Obama knows a sleazy developer…”
Obama created the opening, and McCain swoops in with the attack. McCain doesn’t even own any of those houses, his wife does…but Obama certainly owns the one Rezko helped with.
This is going to be an interesting few months…
Scene 1: Both have gaffes, but Obama is supposed to be the intellectual and the great speaker. Fact is, without a teleprompter he’s a fish out of water.
Scene 2: Who has said Obama is evil for knowing Edwards? I’m much more concerned with him knowing Rev. Wright, Rezko, Ayers, etc…
Scene 3: Yes, Obama’s a real “man of the people”. I didn’t hear anything about marrying an heiress when John Kerry was running. Hmmm…
So, what’s your point, Jeremy?? There is absolutely nothing substantive about an attack on the fact he couldn’t remember how many houses he owned…the Rezko stuff, though, certainly raises some questions.
