Focus on the Family Action pulled a video from its Web site today that asked people to pray for “rain of biblical proportions” during Barack Obama’s Aug. 28 appearance at Invesco Field at Mile High to accept the Democratic nomination for president.

I think this is a great idea and can’t imagine why it would need to be taken down.  Hmmm, well, rain of biblical proportions does mean flooding and that wouldn’t be good.  How about praying for a power failure? Anyone want to join me?

Yeah, the flooding wouldn’t be good, but the rain would be nice. Then, the Messiah can look towards the heavens and, with a simple motion of his arms, part the skies and make everything clear again.

A power failure sounds good too…though certainly the electricity he’d generate from his presence alone would serve to at least keep the microphones going.

  2. LOL @ RF. Umm, we lose power where we live all the time. Even when the weather is beautiful! So it’s no fun. I’m sure you already know that. LOL.

    But yes, rain, rain, PLEASE!!
