Learn English??? That’s crazy talk!
That a a “Government issued” ID card. How the hell are they supposed to have one MADE by the time of the tests.
I’m sure the brain-e-aaccckkks that LOVE immigrants will love the chance they are getting. Why the hell are we now offering ESL if they can just get a GED by taking a test in Spanish ???
WOW !!
I think a government issued ID card would be something like a driver’s license. They also will give you an ID if you don’t want to drive.
We live in a America…..what do ya’ll expect? For people to actually learn and SPEAK english….pleeeeeeeaaaaaassssssssseeeeeeeeee maybe in a fairy tale world. LOL.
Yes, an ID card is something you can get instead of a drivers license. I knew some teenagers who had them when I was in high school before they could drive.
I don’t really see the harm in getting your GED before learning English. But, this doesn’t mean the person taking the test doesn’t know English. English is a very complicated language because the rules are nuts. I’m sure the questions are much easier to understand in your native language.
I used to work in a bank. I had customers all the time who spoke English but had trouble with some of the words and so they’d throw a Spanish word in. Luckily, at the time I still remembered some Spanish. My customers would have had a much easier time taking the test in Spanish, even though they spoke English.
But, I guess making assumptions that they don’t speak English is more fun.
