I would love to speculate as to why the SWAC republicans neglected to have a float in the Stuarts Draft fireman’s parade, but the important thing is that they didn’t. Come on, Augusta GOP, get your rear ends in gear. Chairmen and committees are super important because they march in parades and wave flags. You’re slacking. (I have just found out that it wasn’t the Augusta GOP committee that was slacking. I mistakenly assumed that they coordinated all the parades when it generally the district supervisors that put things together for parades that happen within their districts. I hope I relayed that properly. High fives still go out to Mr. Donkey and Rightside.)

Between their websites being closed for summer, not waving flags (or throwing candy) in this parade, and apparent disagreements even among the “real” republicans, I’m a little worried about SWAC. It’s like they are going into internal melt down mode in a presidential election year. And the liberal messiah is running. I know we’ve had our differences, but I don’t want Obama for president, so I’m going to do what I can to boost SWAC moral. It’s time for you all to kiss and make up, at least until after the election.
